SERVICES
Extending Education Division
This part of our organization focuses on engaging students in their field of study and linking them with opportunities that will help them to realize the breadth of our field. This division's activities include planning educational trips, bringing speakers to our monthly meetings, and assisting students in obtaining career-building and research experience before they even graduate!
Leadership & Development
This club provides students with a number of opportunities to better themselves by working closely with our team and becoming leaders. There are a number of positions that make our club run smoothly; you can even make one up for yourself if you have a special idea or project! Networking frequently with other students gives us the opportunity to share our skills with each other (like web development!) or find jobs and research assistantships.
Sustainability Division
In sustainability work at the Mississippi State chapter of ASABE, we strive to increase awareness of environmental issues as well as do our part through volunteerism! This year, we are involved in planning and organization of the SEC Academic Conference, where the theme is "Water" and its relevance to sustainability in the fields of environmental and agricultural engineering. We anticipate this to be a great opportunity for our members to engage with companies active in environment-friendly research!
